THE BARTOLOTTA RESTAURANTS ANNOUNCES REOPENING DATE FOR JOEY GERARD’S – A BARTOLOTTA SUPPER CLUB
The Bartolotta Restaurants is announcing the reopening date for Joey Gerard’s – A Bartolotta Supper Club in the historic village of Greendale, which will reopen Thursday, December 17. The return of this popular Bartolotta restaurant comes as the family-owned company continues to reopen locations with an enhanced emphasis on health and hygiene protocols for guests and employees. The restaurant will also launch with a curbside menu, exclusively through Tock, which will reflect a wide range of acclaimed offerings.
Located in the charming village of historic Greendale, Joey Gerard’s embraces an upscale casual dining experience while combining classic supper club menu options –charcoal-fired steaks in Josper ovens, grilled cold-water lobster tails, cedar-plank salmon, and a modern spin on supper-club classics such as Braised Short Rib Beef Stroganoff; and of course the classic schaum torte – baked meringue and fresh strawberries.
Growing up just outside of Milwaukee, The Bartolotta Restaurants co-founders Joe and Paul Bartolotta embraced the social atmosphere and neighborhood camaraderie of traditional Midwest supper clubs. In 2012, they sought to reimagine the concept, infused with modern hospitality and culinary excellence that has come to define The Bartolotta Restaurants. Joey Gerard’s – A Bartolotta Supper Club is the culmination of their shared vision, an enticing destination where guests gather for classic cocktails and dinner. The name itself is an homage to Joe Bartolotta, whose middle name is Gerard, and who would often be referred to as “Joey Gerard” by his mother.
Joey Gerard’s – A Bartolotta Supper Club will reopen on Thursday, December 17, with new hours of operation – Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. – and a casual dining menu conceived by Executive Chef David Wolfe.
Chef Wolfe joined The Bartolotta Restaurants in 2019 following a successful three-year tenure with Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. In June 2016, he opened the company’s Journeyman Hotel as Executive Sous Chef, overseeing all aspects of Tre Rivali Restaurant and The Outsider, a rooftop dining experience, under the direction of famed Chef Heather Terhune. He also served under Michelin-starred Chef Suzy Crofton, along with Chef Jason Gorman and Bradford Shovlin at Milwaukee’s Iron Horse Hotel, beginning as Sous Chef before ascending to Chef de Cuisine and later Executive Sous Chef.
Joey Gerard’s – A Bartolotta Supper Club will operate under enhanced health and hygiene protocols that have become the new standard for all The Bartolotta Restaurants. These policies are in effect for guests and employees, and include:
-
Face masks are required to be worn by staff members at all times
