Fall Wine Dinner with Sanford Winery

The team at Bacchus – A Bartolotta Restaurant is honored to host an exclusive wine dinner featuring wine from Sanford Winery and will highlight California’s more prestigious and admired Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. Joining us for the evening will be John Terlato, owner of Sanford Winery.

In 1971, Botanist Michael Benedict and his friend Richard Sanford planted the first Pinot Noir vines in Santa Barbara, launching the start of what is considered now one of the best and most distinctive wines in the world. This pioneering winery is home to the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the county and has set the standard for quality in the Santa Barbara region. Today the estate is owned, farmed, and cared for by the Terlato family who attributes their continued success to putting quality first.

The Sandford Winery magic comes from the east-west mountain valley that runs from the vineyard to the Pacific Ocean. The renowned cool climate and optimal soil conditions allow the grapes to ripen perfectly which in turn makes for a consistent full-bodied complex wine that resembles the best of the best from Europe.

Executive Chef Nick Wirth and his team have crafted a five-course menu to pair perfectly with four wines from Sanford Winery.

There are a limited number of seats for this experience. Don’t miss out on this exceptional dinner on November 19, 2021. Purchase your tickets today!
